TOLERANCE SOLVES NOTHING IF WE ARE STILL DIVIDED! Time to lose the ride.

My goal in this life is to teach people that the following statements are not only true, but a "cornerstone" of belief for those seeking to truly understand the nature of God. This concept can create a religious atmosphere where religious tolerence is unnecessary. If we follow God's word correctly (from any religion), what do we need to tolerate? Afterall, when we are with God- we are one. Everything else is man made and thus, utterly expendable. I admit much of my philosophy comes from a Zen Buddhist perspective, however as it stands, I fear that this may be the only way to truly see God as he showed himself to us.
Churchs may not like to hear this, but you absolutely need to, because its roots are in absolute truth. Thanks, please read on...
*Below, please exchange the word "God" with any of the following verbs and/or adjectives: Love, Life, Compassion, Enlightenment, Peace, Happiness. It is important not to mistake God as only a noun. I chose the name "God" because it is the most commonly used for this phenomena, despite the impression people get of a man who grants wishes.
- All of the great religions in the world can be likened to vehicles that will take you to God.
- You can take ANY of these vehicles to drive to where God is- "God is God".
- If one vehicle in particular does not suit you (maybe you don't like the interior), it's OK. Don't give up, try another one. Keep trying until you find the right fit, because the important thing is the destination itself, and not the vehicle you took to get there. You will be rewarded.
-Once God is found, you must step out of this vehicle, and celebrate God with the others who too have found God, and become one with them... or "whole".
-To remain "in your vehicle" and watch others experience God is foolish (but almost always the case), and you would not truly know God if you did this.
-By remaining in your vehicle you will only separate yourself from the others who have become one with God. You will not know God because God does not divide his flock. God is the glue that keeps his flock together. If you remain inside your vehicle, the glue only helps to keep you together with your specific church (a small fraction of God's family).
-If you feel comfortable in your vehicle and hold on to your vehicle- you have confused the vehicle itself with God.
This is where the hand of man begins to hurt the concept of religion:
-The vehicle profits by keeping you inside, and begins to teach you that without it you will no longer be able to see God because it has obtained "exclusive rights" to the Kingdom of God.
-The vehicle teaches you that because it brought you to God, you owe it to the manufacturer of the vehicle to stay there.
-The vehicle teaches you to lock your doors because others seek to corrupt your mind, and you are frightened by the crowd gathered outside and frightened to leave your vehicle.
-All of the major religions in the world point to the very same God. Anyone who does not know this fact does not know God at all.
-Once organized religion has brought you to God, it only becomes your enemy by separating you. Unless go against the grain of your vehicle to see a Unitarian approach to God, you not continue to grow spiritually.
-You must abandon your church IF it holds you captive, away from God's other good people outside your church. And don't kid yourselves, churchs preace love for all til the cows come home, but when was the last time your church attempted to unite with a Jewish Synagouge or a Muslim Temple (without trying to change them)?
-You must strip yourself of this religious identity if you intend on moving closer to the light.
-GOD IS LOVE. And it really is that easy.

The following excerpts are evidence that what I say is true according to all the major organized religions. Christian Gospel, Jewish Texts, Muslim Texts, and Buddhist doctrines are all present in my examples.
On the destination... "Oneness":
His disciples said to him, "When will the kingdom come?"
"It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, 'Look, here!' or 'Look, there!' Rather, the Father's kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don't see it."
His disciples said, "Show us the place where you are, for we must seek it."
He said to them, "Anyone here with two ears had better listen! There is light within a person of light, and it shines on the whole world. If it does not shine, it is dark."
Jesus said, "I am the light that is over all things. I am all: from me all came forth, and to me all attained.
Split a piece of wood; I am there.
Lift up the stone, and you will find me there."
His disciples said to him, "When will the rest for the dead take place, and when will the new world come?" He said to them, "What you are looking forward to has come, but you don't know it."
The purpose of all the major religious traditions is not to construct big temples on the outside, but to create temples of goodness and compassion inside, in our hearts. - The Dalai Lama
"All happiness comes from the desire for others to be happy. All misery comes from the desire for oneself to be happy" Shantideva (Buddhist)
Just as a mother would protect with her life her own son, her only son, so one should cultivate an unbounded mind towards all beings, and loving-kindness towards all the world. One should cultivate an unbounded mind, above and below and across, without obstruction, without enmity, without rivalry. Standing, or going, or seated, or lying down, as long as one is free from drowsiness, one should practice this mindfulness. This, they say, is the holy state here.
-Sutta Nipata (Buddhist)
On abandoning "the vehicle":
Buddhism is ‘a raft to carry one across the stream, not something to burden one when one reaches the other shore. Get across that stream as quickly as possible, was [the Buddha’s] message, there’s work to do on the other side . . .’ - Buddha
Jesus said, "Let one who has found the world, and has become wealthy, renounce the world."
And he said, "The person is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into the sea and drew it up from the sea full of little fish. Among them the wise fisherman discovered a fine large fish. He threw all the little fish back into the sea, and easily chose the large fish. Anyone here with two good ears had better listen!"
Jesus said, "The Father's kingdom is like a merchant who had a supply of merchandise and found a pearl. That merchant was prudent; he sold the merchandise and bought the single pearl for himself. So also with you, seek his treasure that is unfailing, that is enduring, where no moth comes to eat and no worm destroys."
“Are you for the Kingdom of God which includes all of us, or are you for your own community against the rest of mankind?” - Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall (Muslim Prophet)
"There shall be no compulsion in religion. True guidance is now distinct from error. He that renounces idol worship and puts faith in God shall grasp a firm handle that will never break. God hears all and knows all." - The Koran
"If beings knew, as I know, the results of sharing gifts, they would not enjoy their gifts without sharing them with others, nor would the taint of stinginess obsess the heart and stay there. Even if it were their last and final bit of food, they would not enjoy its use without sharing it, if there were anyone to receive it" Itivuttaka 18 (Buddhist text)
On the church as an enemy:
"Damn the Pharisees! They are like a dog sleeping in the cattle manger: the dog neither eats nor lets the cattle eat." - Jesus
"The Pharisees and the scholars have taken the keys of knowledge and have hidden them. They have not entered nor have they allowed those who want to enter to do so. As for you, be as sly as snakes and as simple as doves." - Jesus
Jesus said, "If they say to you, 'Where have you come from?' say to them, 'We have come from the light, from the place where the light came into being by itself, established [itself], and appeared in their image.' If they say to you, 'Is it you?' say, 'We are its children, and we are the chosen of the living Father.' If they ask you, 'What is the evidence of your Father in you?' say to them, 'It is motion and rest.'"
On the "exclusivity" of any one vehicle/religion:
His disciples asked him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast? How should we pray? Should we give to charity? What diet should we observe?"
Jesus said, "Don't lie, and don't do what you hate, because all things are disclosed before heaven. After all, there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and there is nothing covered up that will remain undisclosed."
A person said to Jesus, "Tell my brothers to divide my father's possessions with me."
Jesus said to the person, "Mister, who made me a divider?" He turned to his disciples and said to them, "I'm not a divider, am I?"
"You see the sliver in your friend's eye, but you don't see the timber in your own eye. When you take the timber out of your own eye, then you will see well enough to remove the sliver from your friend's eye." - Jesus
"If two make peace with each other in a single house, they will say to the mountain, 'Move from here!' and it will move." - Jesus
"The problem to be faced is: how to combine loyalty to one's own tradition with reverence for different traditions." - Abraham Joshua Heschel
"There is nothing wrong with believing in a God. There is everything wrong in believing in a religion." - Anon
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness." - The Dalai Lama
